The Ginichi camera store is legendary in Japan, and during the 70′s and 80′s they also produced their own series of specialist items designed for Leica cameras. One of these items is the beautifully crafted CoCo leather case for the Leica M6. These cases were hand made by an artisan specifically for Ginichi. The maker has now passed, so there will be no more of these cases made. The workmanship on them is exquisite and they stay on the camera by using the burr of the suede to hold them in place.
I use one of these on my camera and since I put it on I never want to take it off, it is simply beautiful and gives a lovely feel to the camera.
