My name is Bellamy Hunt, AKA Japancamerahunter. I live in Tokyo and love exploring the city, taking pictures and sharing my photographic knowledge with people. If you are ever in Town drop me a line. You cannot miss me, I am the handsome guy that everyone talks about….er.

This delightful picture was taken by the charming and talented Mijonju. You should check him out at Circlerectangle.

I source quality cameras and other photographic equipment from Japan to customers around the world. Having built strong connections in the camera industry over the past seven years as a buyer and broker in Tokyo I am able to quickly and expertly meet the needs of each customer on an individual basis. No matter what it is you are looking for Japan has it, and I can find it. Contact me here to learn more.

I also work as a photographer and some of my images can be seen on flickr. You can also follow me on twitter .
Oh and I have a tumblr too.
I am always developing my style, and as this site develops I shall be using it to showcase my work and upcoming exhibitions.

Some tiresome details about my pictures Please don’t use my images without contacting me first. Taking peoples pictures is theft and this is part of my job. I am very reasonable about use, so please contact me and we can work something out. Thanks very much.

Hi Bellamy,

I am coming to Japan for the first week in March and love your various websites. I love to shoot Leica and we obviously have some camera interests in common. It would be great to meet up if you have time !

Hi Bellamy,
How are you? Love your web site!
I would like to see how can I share my workshop video with you. http://vimeo.com/35892793
Also, you may find lots of Leica S2 material in my web site (although they are all in Chinese!).
I also would like to work on some video footage like the ‘In your bag’ to share some of my Leica experience.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Best,
Bobby

I keep seeing people with a case to hold their film and they are saying that it came from you. How can I get one?
